Peter is an executive level professional with 10 years of experience in various finance roles, 7 years of experience in hedge funds and private equity firms and 10 years of experience in the brewing industry. Most recently he was the Director of FP&A at a New York-based multi-strategy alternative asset investment firm, where he dedicated seven years to launching and scaling the FP&A function into a key strategic component of the organization. During this process, Peter leaned heavily on his expertise in budgeting, modeling and forecasting.
Prior to working in the finance industry, Peter worked at Anheuser Busch InBev (ABI) in a myriad of roles, ranging from Brewing Process Engineer and Head of the Brewing Maintenance Department to Manager of both Target Setting & Cascading and Planning & Performance Management within the People Team.
Peter's working style is characterized by professionalism, collaboration, leadership and respect. He excels at working with data, problem solving, and quickly understanding new processes and technologies and rapidly adding value. He has led teams of up to 17 employees ranging from machinists, electricians and teamsters.
Peter holds an MBA from NYU Stern and has a formal background in engineering. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and started his career as an aerospace design engineer at East/West industries.
Peter lives in Littleton, Colorado with his wife Stephanie and 2 daughters, Emily and Allison. When not hunting for operational efficiencies, Peter enjoys exploring the vast array of Colorado landscape via skiing, hiking, camping, climbing and mountaineering. He holds a private pilot's license and has competed in several offshore sailboat races. Peter enjoys volunteering in his local community. He is currently Secretary for the Colorado Mountain Club Denver Leadership Council. He devotes his time as a friendly visitor for Jewish Family Services and is a trained crisis counselor with the Crisis Text Line.
